Yep, you heard me right. There was an earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico yesterday. It was a 6.0 on the richter scale and hit about 11am. Some people claim that they felt tremors, but I didn't feel a thing. I haven't heard of any tsunamis hitting Tampa or anything. In fact the only damage I heard about was that a water pipe burst in a downtown apartment building (not mine). But who knows if it was related to the earthquake or just a coincidence. This is just what we need, another natural disaster to add to the list which will make insurance rates skyrocket again.
What next, Lord? Protection, please.

ReplyDeleteI was reading up on it and apparently there was another one back in February (a 5.2). I never heard anything about that one.
