First Haircut

After getting a bunch of grief about the length of Madison's hair (you know who you are), I finally broke down and cut her some bangs. I cut them a little short, probably because I was so nervous that I was going to poke her in the eye with the scissors. They're not incredibly straight either. Oh well. It's a good thing that hair grows (and Maddie's seems to grow really fast).

It was a beautiful sunny 70 degree day today, so Maddie & I took a little trip to the park this afternoon

Six More Weeks of Winter???

Are you sure? Apparently, Mr. Punxsarawney Phil saw his shadow this morning. But it's a little hard to believe considering the weather we had this weekend. Saturday, we were able to turn off our heaters & open the windows. You could walk around outside with only a sweatshirt. It was a whopping 69 degrees! It's supposed to stay above freezing for the next 10 days - with another 60+ day on Friday.
