Friday night, I was supposed to hang out with the Girls. It's been months since we've all hung out together. But due to lack of proper planning, sick husbands, and last minute cancellations it didn't pan out. Instead, I got to see Bryan. Not a bad consolation prize if you ask me :) We went out to dinner and to a movie at Downtown Disney. We saw the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie. No, this was not MY choice. Who would have thought that something that was semi-popular to kids 15 years ago, would still be popular among young children today. It was an interesting movie and the animation was quite good.
On Saturday, I helped Bryan fix the brakes on one of his cars. Yeah, you heard me right, I helped fix a car. I didn't have to get under it and get all dirty though (thank goodness). Bryan did all the dirty work. I just had to pump the brake pedal to flush the fluid out. After fixing the cars, we sat to watch the very disappointing Kansas game. It was hard to sleep when he kept yelling at the TV. It was a very poor game. They kept missing all the easy shots! If they would have made HALF of them, they would have easily won.
We did end up going to Cocoa Beach on Sunday. It was a PERFECT day! The temperature was in the 80s and there was a nice breeze to keep you from getting too hot. The water was still too cold for getting in. Plus there were several rip current warnings. That's enough to keep me out. I got a nice start on my tan, though.
Easter is less than 2 weeks away. I can't wait. And for those of you that will be in Chicago that weekend will finally get a chance to meet my boyfriend (and see that he's really not a figment of my imagination).

Off To A Great Start
I'm off to a really great start this morning. First, I'm running late for work because I can't pull myself out of bed (OK, so there's nothing really new there). But I'm already running late, I get 2 blocks from the office and get pulled over because the cop said that I ran a stop sign. I don't know what he was talking about because I did stop. But I still get the $115 ticket. Could this day get any better?

Title Block
I'm not feeling very creative today with coming up with a title for today's blog. I just thought I'd update you on what's been going on. Truthfully, not that much. My weeks are pretty much consumed by two things - work & Bryan. We try to spend as much of our free time together as we can. Last night was bowling. I didn't quite as good as last week, but still above my average. Bryan's been in kind of a slump lately. I've actually been beating him in several games. After bowling, we met some of his client friends from Indianapolis for dinner at Seasons 52. It's a really nice restaurant (even if it is a chain) with a very FLW look. And since his company was footing the bill, I ordered the second most esxpensive item on the menu (but I didn't drink anything alcohol wise so I figured it would even out with everyone else). I ordered the filet mingon, but when they brought it out, it was medium-rare, instead of medium like I wanted. They took it back and plopped it on the grill a little longer. When the chef returned with my meat, I cut it again, but it still wasn't cooked thouroghly. They took it back AGAIN and cooked it some more. By now, everyone else was almost finished with their dinners. The manager then came out and apologized profusely and took my dinner off the bill. When they brought my food back the 3rd time, it was finally cooked properly and was quite tasty. But all my vegitables were now cold and not very tasty. It's kind of funny that I was so worried about ordering an expensive dinner when my WHOLE meal ended up being free (I had water to drink). Oops. I forgot that I DID order a dessert, so it wasn't ENTIRELY free. After the restaurant closed, we went to the Ale House next door for more drinks. Once again, I had water (I was driving). We didn't back to my place til almost one and of course Bryan still had to drive 20 minutes back to his house.
This past weekend was all about sports. Sunday we went to a Tiger's game. Friday & Sunday nights were spent watching Kansas play in the NCAA Tournament. Friday night we went to a local sports bar to watch the game. Sunday night, we went to the mongolian BBQ place in Lakeland where I had another brush with undercooked meat. I put together this nice little chicken stir fry dish. I took one bite of the chicken and quickly found out that it wasn't fully cooked. They took it away and I made another plate and made sure that it was fully cooked. I ended up feeling really sick later that evening and even the next day. I think it was because of that one bite of undercooked chicken. In case you're wondering, I am feeling better :)

Bowling High
Last night, Bryan & I bowled our best games EVER in our lifetime. He bowled a 208 in the first game. The second game, I bowled a whopping 176 (60 pins above my average). I had a total of 6 strikes and only 3 open frames. I also had a 157 in the third game and got a turkey. I think we may be tied for first place now (or else we are very close in second). There's about 7 more weeks left in the season.
