First Doctor Visit

Madison went to the pediatrician yesterday for her first checkup. She did really well. She's already back up to her birth weight (plus an ounce). He said she was one of the healthiest premies that he's seen. She even took her first steps (with assistance of course). The doctor held her upright and Madison naturally moved her legs like she was walking. It was amazing. Too bad we didn't have it on video. Madison does have a little diaper rash and the doctor gave us a prescription ointment for it, so hopefully it will clear up in a couple days. After the doctor, we all went out for a Grammy-Mommy-Daughter lunch. Maddie didn't eat much, though :) It's starting to get a little easier as we settle into a routine. Madison sleeps most of the day and wakes up when she's hungry, which is every 3 hours, almost exactly. She's starting to breast feed a little better, but I still give her a bottle of either pumped milk or formula just to make sure she's getting enough to eat. She is just so precious. I love her so much.
