Last night we picked up HUNDREDS of English Walnuts from our driveway and yard. There are still several more in the yard and a few still left on the tree. We walked around to the front of the house and discovered that we also have a buckeye tree.
Do NOT eat the buckeyes BUT save them and we will bring them back here to make buckeye jewelry, a big hit here in central Ohio for some strange reason. Linda K.

Now what? Can you sell them to a nut industry?
Do you now have stained hands? I remember trying to peel a walnut when I was a kid--I had brown hands for days.

After some more research online. I discovered that we have hickory nuts, not walnuts.
